My husband and I are intended parents who welcomed a child through surrogacy in Argentina in 2024. We discovered GSC through a Growing Families seminar in Melbourne and subsequently participated in initial information sessions with Tamari and Andy. Both were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, addressing our questions with openness and clarity. After feeling confident in their approach, we decided to move forward with GSC in Argentina.
Throughout the pregnancy, we had the pleasure of working with several GSC team members, including Tamari, Andy, Maryam, Tamuna, and Temur. Each of them demonstrated exceptional professionalism, providing us with organized, clear, and timely communication regarding appointments and other essential pregnancy-related information.
Our experience in Argentina was marked by both positive moments and challenges. The dynamic legal landscape in Argentina introduced some unpredictability, with frequent changes to laws, policies, and requirements. However, the on-the-ground coordinators, Cami and Laila, were quick to offer support, guidance, and assistance to the best of their abilities, ensuring we were well-informed and supported.
Overall, our journey with the GSC team was a positive one. We felt consistently supported and reassured throughout the process. Our only suggestion for improvement would be regarding the final stages of our experience. At that point, there were some changes with the on-the-ground coordinators, including one coordinator resigning and another being on holiday. This resulted in a temporary lapse in communication and no on-ground support from a coordinator, leaving us in a bit of limbo during a critical period when we needed help with obtaining our baby’s passport and DNI.
We had a positive experience with GSC and would recommend them to other intended parents. We are incredibly grateful to the team for helping us bring our baby boy into the world. We encourage future intended parents to conduct thorough research into the current legal and regulatory landscape in Argentina; however, it’s worth considering the other countries offered by GSC as alternative options to explore.
